I expect most people will want to keep an eye on the Fathom releases.

While I expect the traditional screenings to be decent, I can't imagine they will be that widespread.

Tai, Kari and I think I read that Matt's respective voice actors all expressed interest in reprising their roles. I'm fairly sure the other actor that isn't active would be Joe's. The whole potential recast thing will be an experience though, I wonder if the new actors would get as warm a reception as the new Japanese cast.

Glad some of the Digimon have been confirmed to be back at least. The only real reason for me to watch this is because of the nostalgia, I really don't watch dubs anymore when I can just watch the original. That's why I'm okay with a Saban-esque dub with corny jokes and the like. I'm already bummed that the old dub music probably won't be involved though.

Well, I'm surprised that this is getting a theatrical release here in the US at all. It's nice to know that most, if not all, of the voice actors that did the Digimon partners in the past will be returning. Even if most of the human characters have been recast, here's hoping some have returned especially some of the more memorable voice actors like Joshua Seth and Mona Marshall for example. I'm curious why they have to get a new cast for most of these characters anyway regardless whether it's Japanese or dubbed. I mean the story takes place three years after 02.

Here's hoping they keep the original Japanese music in for once. That said, this is good news nonetheless.

Cool that they're pulling the same thing Japan did with keeping the Digimon voices, but (probably?) changing the humans' voices. Kinda feels in line with how tri shows nostalgia through the digimon and change through the digidestined.

If Crunchyroll's subs were any indication (probably no correlation to the dub, but you never know), they'll at the least keep the dub names of the digimon as well as the digi-evolution names. And as awfully cheesy as it would be, I'm totally hoping they'll replace the OP and ED themes with new versions of the dub theme/insert songs.

I hope so, Colleen O'Shaughnessey as Sora and Lara Jill Miller as Kari please. It wouldn't be the same if they didn't reprise their roles.

Funny thing is Colleen still does voice work for Digimon. She voiced Angie (or Akari for those familiar with the sub name) in Fusion, so I wouldn't be surprised if she made a return.
