We connected with Julie Gerenrot, CFA, studio owner of The Bar Method Chicago – South Loop, Illinois, to learn more about her path to ownership. “As a finance professional and dancer, I fell in love with The Bar Method's intelligently designed sequence of exercisesand focus on form from my very first class in 2009… WhatI didn’t expect was how conquering small challenges in my consistent practice over years would allow me to feel empowered and confident enough to open my own studio in 2017. I continue to be obsessed with our method of instruction that produces the highest caliber teachers in the fitness world, the mind body connection that the workout fosters along with the incredible community that gravitates towards our spaces. I have met and gotten to work alongside the most incredible women in my journey from client to instructor to studio owner. I love that this workout is just right for anyone at every season life, it has seen me through 2 healthy pregnancies, and I know it is something I will continue to practice my entire life. As our method has evolved to incorporate strength training and cardio principles there really is no where else you need to be. It's a one stop shop for your body, mind and spirit. I take so much pride in my incredible team and wonderful clients that have made the Bar Method South Loop a welcoming place to grow in strength and mental fortitude and somewhere to come to shake away the stress of the day and have a good time (we love a reason to celebrate 🎉)!”Thank you, Julie, for sharing your journey with us! #TheBarMethod #Entrepreneur #Barre

Congratulations to our local franchise owner Allison Collinsworth and her team at The Bar Method Dallas – White Rock Lake for winning Advocate Media - Dallas Best Yoga/Pilates Studio. From Ally, “We have seen such amazing growth in our community over the last year and we appreciate all the support. The reason I chose East Dallas was because of the hyper-local feel it had (sort of like a beach community vibe from when I lived in CA) and the loyalty that this community has for local/small businesses…We strive to create an environment that is not only welcoming to ALL but also leaves you feeling strong and confident.”#TheBarMethod #BarreFranchise #WomenInFranchising
