As large bunker schools continue to pop up along the coast this week, big bass remain widespread from Jersey to Massachusetts, and 40-inch bass continue to flood southern Maine.

Big bass up to 50 pounds are stationed outside of Raritan and Jamaica Bays, waves of stripers from 10 to 30 pounds are rounding Montauk, and bass in the upper 30- to 40-inch class chase a smorgasbord of bait outside Boston.

Cow stripers remained stationed off of northern New Jersey as schoolies began dropping out of the Hudson River, slot-class fish invaded the waters from Cape Cod Bay to Boston, and 20- to 40-pound bass span from Long Island to Massachusetts.
